Flare Maps XRP Utility Push With FAssets and Private Compute

Flare CEO Hugo Philion said the FAssets v1.3 upgrade makes FXRP minting simpler for XRP users. The new mint-to-tag model lets users mint FXRP through a single XRP Ledger transaction.Philion said the process uses native XRP Ledger features and does not require direct exchange integrations. He said Flare designed the system with minting caps, escrow protections, and emergency custody measures.Philion said the XRP Ledger can serve as the issuance and settlement layer while Flare provides the compute layer. Flare CEO Hugo Philion said the network is upgrading its FAssets system to make XRP more usable in DeFi. He said FAssets v1.3 lets users mint FXRP through a simpler “mint-to-tag” process on the XRP Ledger. Philion also said Flare is building confidential compute tools for privacy-focused, institutional blockchain applications. Flare, XRP and the FAssets v1.3 Upgrade Philion discussed the update in an interview with XRP-focused YouTuber Crypto Sensei. He said the goal is to simplify how users convert XRP into FXRP. Under FAssets v1.2, users had to reserve collateral and work with agents. Philion said v1.3 reduces that flow to a single XRP transaction. He said users can send XRP to a designated address with structured memo data. That process uses native XRP Ledger features, including destination tags. Philion

Copper Adds Support for Ripples RLUSD

Digital asset infrastructure provider Copper has added Ripples U.S. dollar-pegged stablecoin, RLUSD, to its Stablecoin Rewards Program. The integration allows Copper‘s institutional clients to earn yield on RLUSD while holding the asset within the firm’s custodial environment. By offering yield directly through its custody platform, Copper allows enterprise clients to generate returns without having to actively interact with decentralized finance (DeFi) protocols or manage trading positions. Elon Musks SpaceX Approaches Top 7 Bitcoin Holders; Bollinger Bands Signal No XRP Rally Before Summer; Dogecoin Founder Addresses $20 Trillion Target – Morning Crypto Report Cardanos Ecosystem Under Threat RLUSD, which is issued natively on both the XRP Ledger and the Ethereum network, is backed one-to-one by a combination of U.S. dollar deposits and cash equivalents. The token joins a growing roster of stablecoins supported in Coppers yield program, which already includes USDC, USDe, USDtb, PYUSD, USX, and USDG. Growing demand The move comes as traditional financial institutions increasingly demand regulated digital dollar instruments paired with secure collateral management. “Regulated stablecoins, with secure custody and efficient collateral management will play a critical role in accelerating the institutional adoption of digital assets,” said Copper CEO Amar Kuchinad, noting that RLUSD meets the firms institutional standards for security and transparency. Vitalik Buterin maps 3-step Ethereum privacy upgrade

Ethereum co-founder Vitalik Buterin has outlined short-term work aimed at making native privacy stronger on the network.Vitalik Buterin listed three Ethereum privacy steps: AA plus FOCIL, keyed nonces, and access-layer work. The plan targets metadata leaks and makes privacy transactions harder for block builders to censor.Related Ethereum roadmap work names native privacy as a long-term network priority for future upgrades. Buterin posted that Ethereum is working on short-term changes to move the network toward native privacy. His post said privacy can help give an asset true “moneyness” qualities, while layer-1 privacy could also support more mainnet activity. The plan centers on three areas: account abstraction with FOCIL, keyed nonces, and access-layer work. These changes aim to give privacy transactions better treatment, reduce metadata leaks, and protect users when they interact with wallets or apps. AA and FOCIL target transaction censorship The first step combines account abstraction, known as AA, with FOCIL. Account abstraction can make Ethereum wallets more flexible by letting accounts define how transactions are approved and paid for. EIP-8141 describes frame transactions as a way for validity and gas payment to be defined more freely, instead of relying only on one ECDSA signature. FOCIL is meant to help valid transactions get included in blocks.

Vitalik Buterin Details Ethereum Upgrades to Boost Privacy Features

The roadmap includes account abstraction FOCIL and keyed nonces to improve transaction confidentiality.FOCIL introduces validator-enforced transaction inclusion to reduce the risk of censorship on the network.Account abstraction allows Ethereum accounts to function like smart contracts with enhanced security and flexibility.Keyed nonces make it harder to link transactions by replacing the single sequential nonce system. The access layer proposal focuses on protecting user data during blockchain queries through tools like Kohaku. Vitalik Buterin on Wednesday detailed new privacy-focused upgrades planned for Ethereum. The proposals aim to bring private transactions directly onchain instead of relying on third-party tools. The update outlines three initiatives designed to improve privacy across transactions, accounts, and data access. Vitalik Buterin outlines Ethereum Privacy Roadmap Buterin shared the update in a technical post on X that described near-term privacy improvements. He focused on making private transactions a native feature of Ethereum. Short-term things being done to shift Ethereum toward native privacy: The proposals include account abstraction, FOCIL, and keyed nonces. Each initiative targets a different layer of user privacy on the blockchain. FOCIL, or fork-choice enforced inclusion lists, aims to reduce transaction censorship. It allows validator committees to require block builders to include specific transactions. If builders ignore these transactions, the network can reject their blocks.

The Protocol: Ethereum Foundations high-profile departures spark fresh debate

ETHEREUM COMMUNITY RESPONDS TO EF DEPARTURES: A wave of departures from the Ethereum Foundation (EF) is reigniting a debate inside the crypto industry: What is going on at the main steward behind Ethereum, and why does the community know so little about what is happening behind the scenes? Days after several high-profile figures said they had left the foundation during an internal shakeup, community members on X began openly questioning the organization‘s direction, leadership structure and communication practices. “What’s happening at the EF?” crypto commentator Andy, the co-founder of the Rollup podcast, wrote in a post on X. Others echoed similar frustrations, arguing the EF has failed to clearly explain the rationale behind the changes or how responsibilities inside the organization are evolving. “Why can‘t the EF just be transparent about things,” wrote Joon Ian Wong, a prominent figure in the crypto community events space. The criticism reflects a longstanding tension surrounding the Ethereum Foundation, the Switzerland-based nonprofit that plays a central role in funding research, coordinating upgrades and stewarding development of the world’s second-largest blockchain by market capitalization. Unlike traditional corporations, the EF has historically operated with a loose and decentralized structure. Some have argued that the model preserves

ETH Price Prediction: $2,400 Breakout or $1,950 Crash in Next 30 Days

Ethereum sits at $2,131, hugging the lower Bollinger Band at $2,100 while trading below all major moving averages. The RSI reading of 36.62 shows oversold conditions without the capitulation volume that typically marks significant bottoms. Meanwhile, the MACD remains flat at zero, indicating stalled momentum as bulls and bears reach a temporary equilibrium. The price struggles to reclaim the $2,170 pivot level, with the 20-day SMA at $2,268 providing strong overhead resistance. Ethereums position just 9% above the lower Bollinger Band suggests proximity to a potential bounce rather than further decline. The technical picture reflects indecision, but historical patterns show these compressed ranges often precede significant directional moves. Derivatives and Smart Money Signals Ethereum futures maintain $4.59 billion in open interest with only a -1.39% decline, indicating position trimming rather than mass liquidations. The 1.38 taker buy/sell ratio reveals aggressive buying pressure as someone absorbs available selling. This buying activity coincides with top traders maintaining 73.8% long exposure despite recent technical damage. The neutral 0.0055% funding rate prevents excessive leverage buildup that could trigger cascade liquidations. Blockchain.news analysis shows these positioning dynamics often create spring-loaded setups where patient capital gets rewarded. The combination of oversold technicals and strong smart money conviction creates an asymmetric
