The tune was a quick win on several rankings, including some that focus entirely on rock and alternative music, where she has succeeded many times in the past.　　“Serena Joy” did manage to crave out a less-than-impressive spot within her catalog, as it missed the most important songs list in her home country. That failure has been quickly rectified, and this frame, Rodrigos latest release becomes one of the 100 most popular cuts in the United States – a feat she is used to accomplishing by this point in her career.　　Olivia Rodrigo Scores Another Billboard Hot 100 Hit　　“Serena Joy” debuts at No. 63 on the Billboard Hot 100 this week. Coinbase Wallet Adds Pulse Mode For Perps

Coinbase has launched Pulse Mode, a simplified mobile interface for perpetual futures trading, shortly after renaming its Base App to Coinbase Wallet. The feature gives eligible users a streamlined route to leveraged trading directly inside the self-custodial wallet, without leaving the application to use a separate exchange or platform. It marks one of the most direct consumer-facing moves yet in the companys broader push into derivatives.　　What Pulse Mode does　　Pulse Mode presents a simplified interface for opening and managing leveraged long and short positions, commonly called perps. In perpetual futures, traders take a position on an assets price without an expiry date, using leverage to amplify exposure in either direction. Coinbase Wallet remains self-custodial and supports spot crypto, tokenized assets, prediction markets, commodities, and perpetual markets together, with Pulse Mode positioned as the entry point for the derivatives side of that stack. The company has not yet published detailed fee schedules, leverage limits, or regional eligibility requirements for the new mode.　　Announcement and rollout　　Coinbase CEO Brian Armstrong revealed the feature in a September 12 post on X, sharing an image of the new interface and inviting users to download the updated application. His post did not provide technical specifications, a complete list

300 GPUs Seized as Mexican Authorities Probe Cartel Crypto Mining

Mexican authorities seized 300 GPUs from a hidden crypto mine linked to cartel funding, exposing a growing illicit mining scheme.　　Mexican authorities have lately busted a hidden crypto mine deep in the mountains of Puebla. Agents hauled out 300 GPUs, 80 medium-voltage terminals, and eight satellite antennas.　　The site sat in Tlaola, well off any main road. Investigators say the operation was tapping power straight from a nearby hydroelectric dam. Its the fourth mining farm found in that area since early 2025.　　Reuters broke the story, linking the setup to organized crime groups using mining to launder money.　　Puebla Crypto Farm Signals Cartel Sophistication　　The building sat off a quiet gravel road in the Sierra Norte mountains.　　As per the report, locals said the mechanical hum could be heard from a kilometer away, well before anyone spotted the structure itself. That noise, paired with unusually high power draw for such a remote spot, drew attention from investigators.　　Security analyst David Saucedo said the setup points to a new level of technical skill among criminal groups in Mexico. He noted that running an operation like this needs both expertise and serious financing, the kind only a major cartel could provide.　　Mexico‘s federal attorney’s office has not commented, citing an

Bitcoin Price Analysis: BTC Faces a Make-or-Break Week

Bitcoin is consolidating around $77.3K after a powerful breakout from the $67K area. While the broader structure has improved significantly, BTC is now facing an important resistance cluster near $80K-$82K. Meanwhile, the latest Coinbase Premium reading suggests that US spot demand has yet to fully confirm the recent advance.　　Bitcoin Price Analysis: The Daily Chart　　The daily chart shows a significant structural recovery. After falling to the $60K demand zone in June, Bitcoin spent several months building a broad base before breaking decisively above the $67K resistance area in late August. The subsequent rally carried BTC rapidly through the $72K-$74K zone and toward the $80K area.　　The $72K-$74K region has now become the first major support zone. A successful retest of this area would preserve the bullish structure established by the recent breakout. Below it, the $67K zone is a more important structural support, as it previously capped the market for several months. A deeper correction could bring the $60K demand zone back into focus.　　On the upside, BTC is approaching the $80K-$82K resistance zone. The price has already tested this area several times but has failed to establish a sustained breakout above it. A daily close above $82K would therefore be significant, as

Bruno Mars Ties A Historic Record With His Biggest R&B Smash

Bruno Mars‘s “I Just Might” spends a thirty-fourth week at No. 1 on the Hot R&B Songs chart, tying Leon Thomas’s “Mutt” as the second-longest-running leader. Those two statements are true, as many of the singer’s most popular tunes can be classified under either – and usually both – of those genre labels.　　That‘s been part of Mars’s generation-defining success: his work typically appeals to a wide swath of music lovers, and he produces the kind of tunes that radio stations love to play nonstop for years. Mars continues to promote his latest album The Romantic, which features multiple hit songs, and more recently he scored a win alongside Latin powerhouse Karol G – but it is

Schumer Calls Senate Caucus to Decide Fate of CLARITY Bill

Key TakeawaysSchumer called a Senate caucus on the CLARITY bill, setting up a decisive vote on its future.Ethics disputes and stablecoin yield concerns threaten to block the bill from advancing on Tuesday.Demands for official crypto divestments derailed bipartisan support, putting passage at risk.　　Senate Democrats To Consider Position On CLARITY Bill　　The destiny of the Digital Asset Market Clarity Act, often called the CLARITY bill, and the crypto industry in the U.S. might be determined today.　　Per Politico, Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer has called for a caucus meeting on Sunday to discuss the partys stance on the new draft text that Senate Republicans circulated on Thursday with over 100 changes allegedly requested by Democrats.　　The meeting comes as the Senate will vote on whether to advance a cloture vote on the bill or drop it entirely on Tuesday, with Republicans exhorting their counterparts to allow the bill to be discussed while negotiations occur.　　While the bill had bipartisan support at some point, negotiations derailed, and now most Democrats are expected to vote against it, as key disagreements in the ethics provision remain, and community banks still have major objections to how CLARITY regulates stablecoin yields.　　On Friday, President Donald Trump met with advisors to consider

Coinbase gives community banks a stablecoin bridge while supplying infrastructure underneath

Coinbase‘s new partnership with payments platform Moov gives community banks and credit unions a route to offer stablecoin services through the financial relationship they already have with businesses. The local institution can remain the customer’s front door, while Coinbase supplies the disclosed custody and transaction infrastructure behind it.　　Related Company Coinbase A leading digital currency company　　Moov CEO Wade Arnold framed the demand bluntly: business customers asked to accept stablecoins currently go outside their primary financial institution. Moov and Coinbase want that service to appear inside the institution‘s existing payments experience. The arrangement could preserve the bank’s customer connection. Control of the economics, data and operational risk remains unresolved until the companies disclose their terms.　　How the split stack would work　　Under the partnership announced Sept. 10, Moov will integrate Coinbases stablecoin payments infrastructure into its existing platform for financial institutions. Coinbase said its CDP Custodial Wallet accounts will provide fund custody and its Payments API will orchestrate stablecoin movement. Moov will connect those functions to the systems used by its bank and credit-union customers.　　That division places three parties between a business and the stablecoin rail. The bank or credit union owns the primary customer interaction. Moov supplies the payments-platform connection. Coinbase provides the

Central banks in focus: Key levels for NZD/USD, EUR/GBP and USD/JPY

Central bank decisions are the major highlight of the week, with the Federal Reserve, Bank of England and Bank of Japan set to announce their monetary policy decisions. Much of the markets attention will be on their policy statements and comments for clues about future rate paths as rates decisions are expected to be in line with expectations.　　Apart from the central bank events, CAD will once again be in the spotlight as Canada‘s inflation report is scheduled for Monday. The BOC adopted a hawkish tone at its last meeting, highlighting inflationary pressures. However, fragile employment conditions and trade tensions between the US and Canada have limited the currency’s ability to benefit from higher oil prices. A softer inflation report could challenge the BOCs hawkish stance and leave CAD vulnerable to further weakness.　　The lead-up to the BOE monetary policy decision is particularly interesting. UK labor market figures and Wednesday‘s CPI report could cause some push and pull for GBP before Thursday’s decision, making it difficult to maintain a clear directional bias for the currency.　　Fed: NZD/USD tests support around 0.5809　　The Federal Reserve is set to announce its decision on Wednesday, September 16, with expectations leaning towards a 25-basis-point rate hike. Malicious bots are actively probing exposed Bitcoin payment servers to steal master administrative keys

Bitcoin payment processor BTCPay Server has warned that bots are probing exposed Lightning nodes for a potential route to administrative control.　　Related Asset Bitcoin #1 BTC · $77,334.87 24-hour change: up 0.22% 24H Up 0.22% 7D Down 3.18% 30D Up 22.75%　　The activity follows a separate critical BTCPay vulnerability that attackers exploited a month ago to obtain credentials protecting LND nodes and drain merchant wallets.　　BTCPay subsequently disabled external access to LND, a widely used implementation of Bitcoins Lightning Network, in its standard Docker deployment. The project now says automated systems are targeting servers where operators manually restored that access, repeatedly calling an LND password-change endpoint.　　The latest mechanism differs from the vulnerability exploited in August but could lead to a similar outcome: an attacker obtaining credentials that can control an LND node.　　BTCPay said the opening appears during a short interval after LND restarts, while its wallet remains locked. During that period, the targeted password-change method does not require a macaroon, the credential LND normally uses to authorize administrative actions.　　Older BTCPay LND wallets compounded the risk by using a shared default password. An attacker who could reach the interface before BTCPays internal unlocker could potentially submit that password first, replace it, and request an
