Former 100x Token DEXE Crashes 97%: Why Are Small-Cap Coins That Surge During Bear Markets a Trap?

Recently, two prominent crypto figures on X, @blmario669 and @choc07_, highlighted the same issue: DEXE, once considered a potential 100x gem, plunged from $46.9 to $5.6 within a single day, an 88% drop. (It has since fallen to a low of $1.5, representing a 97% decline.) During the crash, a large investor reportedly suffered losses of nearly $1.7 million, equivalent to more than 10 million RMB. The sharp decline in DEXE has drawn attention toward market maker DWF Labs, which was accused of using the Ceffu MirrorX mechanism to bypass on-chain monitoring and execute a large-scale sell-off. For more detailed information, please refer to: @blmario669 and @choc07_. DEXE operates in the decentralized social trading and asset management sector. In October last year, it followed the broader market downturn and dropped to a low of $0.136. However, starting in February this year, it went against the market trend and entered a five-month consecutive rally, reaching $49.4 on July 13. The token recorded a peak gain of more than 360x, making it a true “100x coin.” Its market capitalization ranking also surged from outside the top 100 into the top 50. However, just seven days after reaching its all-time high, on July 21, DEXE suffered an

BitMart Accused of Running Away and Blocking Withdrawals? “Debt Recovery Alliance” Formed: Users Dem

Recently, a former BitMart employee publicly exposed allegations on X, claiming that BitMart‘s collapse was a premeditated scheme to take users’ funds and disappear. According to the claims, before its alleged shutdown, BitMart used high-yield financial products to attract and collect approximately 40 million USDT from users. The platform has since reportedly refused withdrawal requests, especially large withdrawals. Even former employees allegedly had their crypto assets locked, while the company also refused to pay employee compensation and delayed some salary payments. It can be said that BitMart has severely damaged its reputation this time — allegedly even betraying its own employees. If insiders cannot withdraw their funds, can ordinary users still expect to get their assets back? Even more controversially, some allegations claim that BitMarts executives are planning to move to WooxPro and repeat the same alleged fund-raising and exit strategy. A crypto blogger on X claimed that the BitMart incident has already been officially filed for investigation and is highly likely to be treated as a landmark case. Exposé on X (Source: @silencefisher) Users affected by BitMart‘s withdrawal restrictions have now begun organizing themselves and forming a “Debt Recovery Alliance” to demand the return of their assets. This matter is unlikely to end anytime soon.

A 12-Year Dormant Bitcoin “Ancient Whale” Makes an Emergency Move: Risk Avoidance or Being Hunted?

On August 4, 2026, late at night Beijing time, a strange ripple suddenly appeared beneath the surface of the crypto market. A Bitcoin address that had remained completely dormant since 2013 — 18TExP — suddenly became active. 500 BTC (worth approximately $31.3 million) were transferred the moment the transaction was confirmed on-chain. This wallet had been asleep for a staggering 12 years and 8 months, making it even older than the birth of Ethereum. 500 BTC Transferred from the 18TExP Address (Source: CoinDesk) Just as people began speculating whether this was the reappearance of Satoshi Nakamoto himself, another far more chilling backdrop emerged: Coldcard, known as the “fortress” of Bitcoin hardware wallets, had just been exposed with a critical security vulnerability, resulting in hundreds of millions of dollars worth of BTC being stolen. The discovery process of this vulnerability further demonstrated both the power and the threat of AI. After the Coldcard team released a security advisory in late July, someone submitted the source code to Claude Code, an AI coding model, for review. The AI identified the exact line of code responsible for the randomness failure in just eight minutes. The revival of an ancient Bitcoin whale and the fatal Coldcard wallet vulnerability happened
