SwirlLend Rugged Both on Base and Linea - SWI Token and TVL Almost Completely Depleted

According to DefiLlama data, the Total Value Locked (TVL) of the Base ecosystems lending protocol SwirlLend has dropped from $784,300 to $49,200. Additionally, on-chain information indicates that the price of the SwirlLend protocol token SWI has nearly reached zero around 10 AM today. Furthermore, the official SwirlLend Twitter account has been deactivated.  As per findings from PandoShield monitoring, the lending protocol SwirlLend has also experienced a Rug Pull on Linea. The deployer has utilized Orbiter Finance to move around 94 Ethereum tokens cross-chain from Linea to the Ethereum mainnet. The fraudulent activity is ongoing in transferring funds from Linea to the Base network. The scammers address on #Ethereum currently holds a balance of 165.6 $ETH and 32,641 $USDC.

$140 Million Dispute between DeFiance Capital and 3AC Liquidators to be Heard in Singapore; DeFiance

The $140 million dispute between DeFiance Capital and the asset liquidator Teneo of Three Arrows Capital will be heard in Singapore, against the wishes of the liquidators.  The controversy involves assets managed by DeFiance Capital, a fund independent from 3ACs operations but part of its corporate structure. According to court documents, the liquidators claim these funds should be held and distributed to creditors as part of 3ACs assets, while DeFiance Capital argues that the funds should be treated separately and returned to its own investors.  While the liquidators have denied the case should be heard at all, they have indicated that any trial should take place in the British Virgin Islands, where the fund is domiciled. DeFiance Capital argues that the trial should be held in Singapore since its founder, Arthur Cheong, and the funds investors are based there.  According to court records from the hearing on August 8th, Singaporean Judge Chua Lee Ming has decided to proceed with the case in Singapore. 3 Silvergate CEOs Simultaneously Left After The Company Stopped Working

Key Points:  Three Silvergate executives are leaving the company this month and next.  The decision to leave was made after declaring bankruptcy and voluntary liquidation.  In March of this year, the bank with crypto shocked the market with the news that it was facing a financial crisis following the rapid collapse of FTX.  According to Bloomberg, three Silvergate Bank executives will leave before September 30 after the company collapsed in March because of the rapid collapse of FTX.  According to documents filed with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), CEO and chairman Alan Lane and chief legal officer John Bonino left on August 15, and chief financial officer Antonio Martino will leave the company and resign on September 30. RocketSwap, a Project in the Base Ecosystem, Falls Victim to Attack, Losing 471 ETH

A tweet from RocketSwap, a project within the Base ecosystem, has disclosed that their assets were stolen due to a server breach caused by brute force attacks. The team mentioned that during the deployment of the launchpad, they needed to use offline signatures and stored private keys on their servers. Unfortunately, the breach resulted in the theft of assets.  CertiK Alert has issued a tweet reporting that RocketSwap has been targeted by a vulnerability attack. The attacker managed to utilize Stargate Finance to bridge the stolen assets onto the Ethereum network, resulting in a loss of 471 ETH (approximately $868,000). The address of the attacker is 0x96c0876F573e27636612CF306C9db072d2B13DE8.  After stealing ETH, the address created a token named loveRCKT and added 400 ETH worth of liquidity to it.
