A heated debate has emerged over the long-term future of Hyperliquid (HYPE). Critics argue the fast-growing decentralized trading platform is little more than “Binance 2.0.” Supporters, however, say it has already become one of cryptos biggest success stories. Notably, the discussion gained attention after crypto commentator DeFi Monk explained why Hyperliquids regulatory challenges could actually create a major investment opportunity. Investment Opportunity in Regulatory Challenges DeFi Monk said Hyperliquid still has significant growth potential even without access to the U.S. market. He argued that the platform could still perform well because it targets the global CFDs market, which handles around $1 trillion in daily trading volume. He added that the upside would increase significantly if regulations become more favorable in the future. He also pointed to growing support from major industry players, including Coinbase, Circle, Paradigm, Grayscale, and Bitwise. Overall, he believes Hyperliquid‘s risk-reward profile remains strong. “If this doesn’t work, then Hyperliquid is basically just what it is today, and it can still be a secular grower,” he said.
