Heres how Ethereum traders can navigate short-term trends

Pinagmulan: ETH / USDT sa TradingView　　A range formation between $1843 and $1934 was highlighted in yellow. The brief breakout above this range in early July was quickly swatted down by the bears. Moreover, the OBV, which had been trending higher until then, declined.　　Over the past week, the OBV continued to drop as the price dropped to the range lows. A candlewick to the $1826 mark on 7 July saw a quick reversal, which suggested that the bulls were not ready to give up on the range formation yet.　　The RSI oscillated between bullish and bearish territory over the past few days to indicate the lack of a trend. However, on lower timeframes such as 1-hour, there was momentum for traders to profit from.　　But, given the decline in OBV, the consolidation phase could be followed by a downtrend for Ethereum. Until the range lows are ceded to the bears, buyers can look to bid in the $1840-$1860 targeting the high at $1935.　　The spot CVD remained flat despite Ethereums bounce from the range lows　　Pinagmulan: Coinalyze　　Magkano ang halaga ng 1,10,100 ETH ngayon？　　On 7 July, after the dip below $1830, Ethereum prices recovered. Ethereum Price On The Verge Of Rectangle Pattern Breakout: Is $2000 Within Reach?

Ethereum depicted a downtick in demand on the one-day chart | Source: ETHUSDT on TradingView　　The inability to break through the $1,900 level had a detrimental impact on investor confidence, resulting in ongoing challenges for Ethereum regarding demand on the daily chart. The Relative Strength Index (RSI) remained positive, although it suggested a relatively low level of demand.　　Furthermore, Ethereums current position below the 20-Simple Moving Average line indicated a decline in buying strength, indicating that buyers were gradually losing control of the price momentum.　　Ethereum depicted an increase in capital outflows on the one-day chart | Source: ETHUSDT on TradingView　　In addition to the low buying strength, ETH also experienced a decline on capital inflows. This indicated a decline in investor interest, as evidenced by the Chaikin Money Flow indicator.　　Conversely, the Moving Average Convergence Divergence (MACD) formed declining red histograms, suggesting a potential breakout in the upcoming trading sessions. The MACD is a useful tool for identifying price momentum and trend changes.　　The next trading sessions will be critical for ETH. It will determine whether the market will be driven by bears or bulls, ultimately influencing the price.

Ethereum Price Lacks Momentum But ETH Holders Are Safe: Heres Why

Pinagmulan: ETHUSD sa TradingView.com　　The trend line is close to the 61.8% Fib retracement level of the recent drop from the $1,905 swing high to the $1,862 low. The first major resistance is near the $1,900 zone. A close above the $1,900 resistance could start a decent increase toward $1,955. The next major resistance is near the $1,975 level. Any more gains could send Ether toward the $2,050 resistance.　　Isa pang Pagbawas sa ETH？　　Kung mabigo ang Ethereum na i-clear ang $1,900 resistance, maaari itong magsimula ng isa pang pagbaba. Bitcoin and Ethereum Shows Signs of Bullish Divergence for Rally

Kagandahang-loob: Trading View　　On-chain data further support that the breakout could be in the upward direction going ahead. Crypto analytics firm Santiment points out the net realized profit loss vs price for BTC and ETH.　　It notes that after three weeks of prices fluctuating, both Bitcoin and Ethereum are experiencing slight losses compared to their previous values. Average traders are moving their assets at small losses. When the Net Realized Profit/Loss (NRPL) indicator is negative in relation to the price, there is a greater chance of positive price movement in the future.　　Kagandahang-loob: Santiment　　Other good signs for Bitcoin have been the growing whale accumulation over the last three weeks as BTC enters price consolidation. ETH investors vs whales: Who will sweep this powerplay?

Whale games are holding back ETHs potential upside　　The above data means that retail buyers are contributing liquidity for whales. As such, this has limited ETHs potential rally. We did see a surge in demand in the last 24 hours, but this is likely because the price hovered at a noteworthy price level.　　ETH recently retested a key Fibonacci support at the 0.786 level as shown below. It has been hovering above this level for some time, which may have been due to heavy accumulation within this zone. However, the continued sell pressure from whales could limit the impact of the surging demand.　　A closer look at ETHs price chart revealed that the cryptocurrency has also been attempting to bounce off the 50% Relative Strength Index (RSI) level. The Money Flow Index (MFI) also confirmed that there was some accumulation. In short, the retail demand, at press time, was in a tug of war with the whales. Layer 2 Mantle Plans To Invest 200,000 ETH In LPs To Grow Profit Realized

In an effort to streamline decision-making processes and address time-sensitive matters, a proposal has been put forth to establish a specialized sub-governance body known as the Mantle Economics Committee (MEC). This committee would operate under the guidance of the governance, focusing on minor details and making conservative allocation decisions for Mantle Treasury assets.　　The primary objective of the proposed MEC would be to assess and determine the allocation of treasury assets in a risk-averse manner. This committee would serve as a dedicated decision-making body, separate from asset custody responsibilities. By creating this specialized committee, proponents aim to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of decision-making processes, facilitate commercial negotiations, and uphold checks and balances among existing entities.　　The MEC would hold several responsibilities, including periodic review of strategies, making recommendations for modifications to approved strategies and allowances, and making decisions on strategy entries and exits within the approved limits. The committee will evaluate strategies based on factors such as Mantle product synergy, technical risks, commercial risks, and economic risks, with a preference for battle-tested on-chain applications.　　Additionally, the committee would negotiate commercial terms for strategies, emphasizing principal protection mechanisms, lower fees, and flexible commitment durations. Amid continuous warnings that the United States dollar will lose its position as the global reserve currency, Robert Kiyosaki, the author of the best-selling personal finance book has reiterated the advice to his followers to turn to assets like Bitcoin (BTC).　　Specifically, Kiyosaki said that the heads of state of the BRICS (Brazil, Russia, India, China, and South Africa) nations would “announce gold-backed crypto” at their next summit, which will begin on August 22, 2023, in Johannesburg, South Africa, as he explained in his tiririt sa Hulyo 11.　　Indeed, the Russian English news channel RT reported that the BRICS coalition would introduce a new trading currency backed by gold as “more and more countries are lining up to join the group,” as per the screenshots and quotes Nagbahagi by former journalist Willem Middelkoop on July 7.　　According to the financial educator, the result of this is that the US currency “will die” as “trillions of US $ rush home” and bring “inflation through the roof.” As a way to protect oneself from the fallout, he advises investing in gold, silver, and Bitcoin, which he believes will hit the price level of $120,000 next year.　　Agosto 22, 2023, sa Johannesburg, South Africa, inanunsyo ng mga
