Ano ang BitMEX?
Ang BitMEX ay isang Peer-to-peer (P2P) Palitan ng Cryptocurrency at propesyonal na derivatives trading platform na itinatag ng HDR Global Trading Limited at rehistrado sa Seychelles sa ilalim ng International Business Companies Act. Ang BitMEX ay nangangahulugang Bitcoin Mercantile Palitan. Ito ay pangunahing nakatuon sa mga advanced na mamumuhunan at bihasang mangangalakal na pamilyar sa mga konsepto ng leveraged tokens at Margin trading.

BitMEX Lists Luna 2.0, ETH Margin and Settlement Options
Cryptocurrency exchange BitMEX announced on Thursday that it has expanded its margin trading services by listing the new Luna 2.0 token (LUNA) on its platform. Terra Luna launched the new cryptocurrency on 28 May. BitMEX listed Terra 2.0 (LUNA) in a dedicated trading zone and opened trading for LUNAUSD and LUNAUSDT trading pairs at 04:00 UTC on 2 June 2022. Terra 2.0 holds the maximum leverage of 25x for the users. Users are now able to trade XBT, and USDT margined Terra Luna 2.0 contracts. LUNAUSD has a fixed Bitcoin multiplier, which lets traders go long or short on the listing without trading LUNA or USD. The LUNAUSDT product is a linear perpetual swap margined in USDT. Margins appear in XBT, and so do the earnings or loss from the trade. Terra 2.0 is part of the revival plan introduced by Do Kwon, the CEO, and founder of Terra Protocol after the Terra protocol collapsed. BitMEX Launches Spot Exchange Service
Crypto exchange platform BitMex announced Tuesday the launch of spot trading for retail and institutional traders. As mentioned on its official website, users are now able to access the spot trading option by placing coin conversion request-for-quotes (RFQs) through Central Limit Order Books. Users can also take advantage of API trading, as well as on the go with BitMEX Lite when Spot is launched in the mobile app in the next few weeks. The crypto exchange introduced new products, featuring seven pairs of cryptocurrencies, including Bitcoin (XBT), Ethereum (ETH), Chainlink (LINK), Uniswap (UNI), Polygon (MATIC), Axie Infinity (AXS) and ApeCoin (APE), all against Tether (USDT). Embattled BitMEX Co-Founders to Pay $30M in Civil Fine
The United States District Court for the Southern District of New York (SDNY) has pronounced a combined Civil monetary fine of $30 million for the three embattled BitMEX exchange co-founders indicted for violating the US Bank Secrecy Act. The co-founders include Arthur Hayes who served as the Chief Executive Officer until the investigations started, Benjamin Peter Delo, and Samuel Reed. As announced by Commissioner Johnson of the Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC), the fine was pronounced in the form of a Consent Order, and each of these founders will be required to pay $10 million each. The CFTC picked up the enforcement actions against the trio for running the BitMEX Exchange in the United States without receiving the appropriate licenses. Hayes and his colleagues were accused of failing to implement the relevant Anti-Money Laundering (AML) measures as well as Know Your Customer (KYC) procedures.
